Ask Questions Before Changing Pipe Gauge
There are a few things I so wish I knew more about with respect to the workings in my kitchen and bathrooms. Firstly the kitchen has now got a problem that was never there prior to my having a brand new kitchen refit. I had a superbly effective hot and cold water flows to the sink. Plenty of pressure in both taps. OK, the hot took a little while to reach the nearly scalding temperature I liked to wash up in but otherwise it was fine. Then came the new kitchen and particularly the sink, which apparetly required new plumbing – I should have asked why and what were the possible implications of this. I would have then demanded to leave it well alone and find a work around. Since I didn’t have the required knowledge, I failed to stop it and so now because of the very narrow gauge plumbing, I have seriously pathetic hot water pressure with a lot of equally pathetic excuses as to why.
